Simply . . . Delicious . . . Creamsicles

It's already heating up here in Arizona, and I still have tasty citrus on our trees so it's time to whip up some Creamsicles!
Hannah came straight from school to spend the night, and needed an after school snack.
I love fruit bars because they form crunchy crystals when they're frozen and the intense flavor of tangerine, tangelo and orange juices blended together makes for a wonderful, cold, refreshing treat. And, while a 100% real fruit juice bar has its merits, being full of vitamin C, low in calories and bursting with flavor . . . adding vanilla ice cream takes it to the next level!

It doesn't get any simpler than this . . . they are healthy, thrifty, and contain no artificial colors or flavors. No recipe needed, just pour a tablespoon or 2 of orange juice into your popsicle mold, add ice cream by the teaspoons full, top the mold off with more orange juice, freeze and enjoy! Simple! Delicious! Creamsicles! Over at Julie's, a.k.a. Grams!!!

Big sister and eldest granddaughter, AJ, enjoying her after school treat!
