Been a bit under the weather . . .

We all have those times when we overdo and get taken out. That's what happened to me first with the flu and then a relapse because I kept pushing myself and didn't get the much rest I needed.

Life's good! Watching fireworks in our pasture.

I love life and all that entails, and there is no place for sickness on my schedule! I don't take good health for granted. Last year I was diagnosed with Lyme disease. I was wracked with pain throughout my body and had intense headaches. After 3 months of heavy antibiotics and prescription pain and muscle relaxants, I really saw no light at the end of the tunnel. It was a scary situation and then I met an amazing young man. . Justin Gehling DC, a cutting edge chiropractor and acupuncturist. I started this blog the same week I began treatment. Dr. Justin has given me my life back, and I am so grateful! It took 28 5-minute sessions but I am drug free and virtually pain free now!

Sanding boards for our homemade Warre' beehives.

I feel so blessed and thankful for all the prayer and support from family and friends! I'm so grateful for all my friends all over the world! You are amazing! Everyday I check to see which countries have been viewing this blog. Sometimes I have to google to figure out where some of you are located! It has been my joy and pleasure to share my life, life-skills and experiences with you. My grandchildren love being world famous, thanks to you all!

What a thrill installing our new bees!

I guess where I am heading with this is, don't lose hope! None of us are impervious to trials and trouble. We all have to walk through some heavy, painful stuff. The good news is, there is a God who loves us and wants to be involved in every aspect of our lives . . . the good, bad and ugly . . . Over at Julie's and over at your home too!
